Reactivates the scalp and stimulates hair growth by massaging the scalp

Do you want to reinvigorate your hair and stimulate its growth?

Insert the scalp massage into your hair care routine, which will allow you to reactivate the skin.

As? You can use your fingertips or brushes with specially designed rounded wooden pins.

You can perform the massage every evening on dry skin when you watch TV, while distributing the aloe vera gel or moringa oil preparing the skin for the compress or when you are still in the shower and distributing the shampoo.

The benefits of massage on the skin

  • You stimulate hair regrowth because you go to stimulate the resting follicles to resume their activity and to exit the telogen phase to produce a new hair
  • You strengthen your hair by stimulating and reactivating skin vascularisation, improving oxygenation and circulation of blood and lymphatic vessels which carry a greater quantity of nutrients necessary for the health of the hair bulb, the hair and the follicles themselves.
  • Lubricate the dry scalp by stimulating the production of sebum
  • Fight dandruff by promoting the penetration of the active ingredients of the specific product you may be using, such as moringa oil
  • Promote the blood flow and the penetration of active substances and nutrients applied to the skin before, after or during the same massage
  • Promote the elimination of toxins that end up on the skin through the sebum of the sebaceous glands and the sweat of the sweat glands.
  • Relieve nervous tension and help to relax the cranial muscles and decontract the facial muscles, giving relief to the scalp and a general feeling of well-being

Poor circulation , on the contrary, weakens the hair , favoring its fall. A healthy hair follicle that is fed and oxygenated correctly is more resistant to external attacks.

You can do the massage on the scalp

Reactivates the scalp and stimulates hair growth by massaging the scalp

To get the most out of this massage you have to make small circular movements starting from the nape of the neck to the hairline.

Place the rounded tips of the wooden pins in different points of the head, applying light pressure and holding the brush for about 2-4 seconds.

The light pressure is used to stimulate blood microcirculation which brings nourishment to the hair follicles.

Repeat the same operation, in the same points, 3-4 times.

How long should the massage last?

About 2/3 minutes. It is advisable to practice it about 3-4 times a week.

  • with fingertips
  • I advise you to alternate the massage performed with the wooden brush with the massage performed with the fingertips of your hands.

You can do it while preparing the skin for a soothing compress with aloe gel or purifying and nourishing with Moringa oil : this additional "helper" will make the fingertips slide more easily and improve the result of the massage .

As a first step, place both palms of your hands on your head so that the fingertips of the two hands are in contact with each other.

Start applying light pressure starting from the nape of the neck by tapping the skin with the fingertips . Start from the top of the head and make circular movements with your fingertips , movements that will descend slowly along the entire nape of the neck up to the neck.

Ok, I'll try to be a little more specific:

    • Place your fingertips on one area of the head, gradually applying as much pressure as you like.
    • Now start massaging gently and only with your fingertips, hinting at a movement similar to when you shampoo, but avoiding rubbing.
    • Basically, the pressure is used to draw blood and the micromovement to activate its circulation.
    • Hold the pressure and micro-movement for about 3-5 seconds.
    • Quickly lift your fingers to release pressure instantly .
    • Wait 5-10 seconds and move to another area of the scalp.
    • The relaxation pause must always be a little longer than the pressure.

To obtain benefits from the massage, remember that it is not the fingertips that have to move during the massage, but you must be able to gently move the scalp itself to be able to reactivate the microcirculation of the skin .

    Dry skin vs oily skin

If you have dry skin , it will immediately benefit from it because the skin massage stimulates the secretion of sebum which counteracts the dryness of the scalp and makes the lengths less dry and opaque.

If, on the other hand, you have oily skin , it is important not to exaggerate with the frequency or with the time dedicated to massaging the scalp as there is a risk of significantly increasing the production of sebum since the sebaceous glands are stimulated.

An oily skin already produces excess sebum so I suggest you avoid too long massages (no more than a couple of minutes/day) 2-3 times a week.

Not only healthy and strong hair:

with the scalp massage you relax your muscles and mind and give yourself a general feeling of well-being. It is important to decrease the accumulated stress that predisposes us to greater hair loss.

I love to alternate the scalp massage with the beech wood brush , rigorously with rounded tips, with the massage in which I simply use my fingertips because it stimulates the hair's life cycle, favoring the growth phase and overall improving hair health.
